Terell Thomas signs new contract
St Lucia captain Terell Thomas has signed the contract offered to him last month.
Thomas joins Aaron Henry in agreeing to stay for a further period leaving just Michael Hector to make a decision.
Still only 27, Thomas was a Charlton youth player before playing just over a 100 games for Wigan, Sutton United, AFC Wimbledon, Crewe and Reading. After signing for the Addicks last September he made 15 appearances playing in a few positions and was relied upon on a number of occasions by Dean Holden.
Thomas will provide adequate coverage across the back four, and as a squad player I’m not sure we’d get much better.

CA, he won’t be a squad player he will be one of the main centre backs, as they won’t want to pay out for anyone who is quality who they may have to pay for!
They are already looking to sign 30 year old midfielder Journeyman Ryan Tunnicliffe, who has been released by Portsmouth, as he’s not up to a promotional challenge, as another Freebie!
It does appear at present, as previously mentioned, De ja Vue, with players looking to be brought in no better than we had last season. As many have said the only way to get out of this division is to bring some quality players in and to do that you may have to spend some money!!!! Second rate average players and loanees, who apart from a few, don’t like to get there shorts dirty when the going is hard, so neither of which, are going to get us out of this division.
Really hope I’m totally wrong, but with all the previous hype of bringing some good quality players in and with the team off to Spain next week and no real signings of any purpose, unlike certain other teams, it’s looking like another last minute shambles to fill the squad and another middle table finish at the end of the year. 🙁
Still at least we will have a decent Keeper, to try and keep the ball out of the net. 🙂
