Queen Elizabeth II RIP
What a very sad moment in history. I feel a quite numb if I’m honest.
She was for generations as the world changed for better or worse all around us, the only true constant in our lives. I like many other millions have only known life with her as our Queen. It will be so strange now.
I am glad that she died in peace at her favourite place and also got to witness what the country, and the world thought of her during the Jubilee celebrations.
What an incredible woman. A wonderful servant who lived such a remarkable and dignified life. Truly the end of an era.
Rest In Peace Your Majesty. God Save The Queen.

It doesn’t matter how far any of us move , or how long ago we left..she was our Queen..the rock through good, bad and evil and the epitome of our great country that will always be our home. We all knew the day was coming, especially since the death of Prince Phillip, but as you say still a shock and numbing.

A very sad day, there will never be another Queen like her, who was much loved throughout the World. God Rest Her Soul.
I count myself fortunate having met the Queen when she visited our school over 50 years ago. As a spotty dumbstruck teenager I don’t remember covering myself in glory. But I do recall even then she had time for anyone, without a hint of the don’t you know who I am attitude so prevalent today.
I actually feel quite emotional.
