Lavelle out for season

Sam Lavelle will miss the rest of the season after dislocating his shoulder at Wimbledon on Tuesday.

Lavelle had missed almost four months of the season due to groin surgery and will now face another period on the sidelines.

The 25-year old who had played over 150 games for Morecambe and rarely missed a game was looking more influential in the back three in recent weeks, and I was starting to warm to him after not being convinced before his first injury.

Under Adkins he wasn’t alone at looking unsure to his role and was often languid in possession, He does look more confident in a three and was one of a few players I’d be keen to see again next season. A

A likeable personality who doesn’t appear to shirk a challenge, I wish him a speedy recovery.

Agree CA he’s started to perform a bit better now so wheres Elewere? He really shone when Adkins had to play him for a few games and looked more assured than the rest of the backline, who were all having nightmares at the time.
He was only on the bench twice under Jackson and came on as a sub in one of those, but hasn’t been seen since, not even in the under 23’s!

He must be injured, but haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere.
