Harry Arter returns to Forest

The first transfer story of the window is out, and that is the return to Nottingham Forest of Harry Arter.
The return of Arter to the club where he began his career never had the fairytale ending some hoped it might. The 32-year old played five games and only featured under Jackson twice, at home to Havant & Waterlooville and Aston Villa U21’s and was twice substituted.
It hasn’t worked out for either party emphasizing again the haphazard nature of the club’s summer recruitment policy. In Arter’s favour is that Forest are also under new management.
Arter’s return should free up money and a loan spot.

It’s a shame, would have loved to see it work out, especially as he’s a local lad and offered to play for us for free I believe when we released him as a nipper. He’s had a more interesting career than most and dealt with some personal tragedy, I wish him all the best.
