Massive starter

Large prawns, cocktail sauce and all the trimmings as we were drawn together with our old friends from South Yorkshire for the opening game of the new L1 season to be held at The Valley.
Could be a lot worse. Sheffield Wednesday to kick off the season is a plum game, and hopefully in front of an unrestricted attendance plus some away fans does, for League One, get the juices flowing.
A week later we go to Karl Robinson’s Oxford United, play-off semi-finalists from last season followed by a Tuesday night at an already transfer active MK Dons then home to a happily reinvigorated Wigan.
Off to Plough Lane and Wimbledon on Boxing Day and then home games against Gillingham and Wycombe to round up the festive games.
Morecambe at home for the first time ever on Good Friday, then because I assume due to the 2022 World Cup the season has an abrupt halt on the last weekend in April at home to Ipswich Town.
The Tuesday after the Sheffield Wednesday opener we will host Wimbledon in the League Cup and for those interested in the Pizza 🍕 Cup we’ve been drawn in the same group as Crawley Town, Darren Pratley’s Leyton Orient and Southampton’s U21.
