Pompey game called off. Now on Tuesday

It’s poured all week in London town, and about an hour before kick off the officials called our game against Portsmouth off, the first game called off for weather since Roland Duchatelet refused to repair the pitch drainage.

Charlton’s first home league postponed fixture down to a waterlogged pitch since the Barnsley home fixture back in January 2014.

The Scunthorpe home fixture in January 2017 was also postponed but that was down to a frozen pitch. #cafc pic.twitter.com/fm3dMBGCxP

The game will now be played on Tuesday night at 7pm. A few more days to get Famewo fit.

London clubs Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Brentford, AFC Wimbledon, Barnet and Bromley all played their matches today. You have to ask the question as to what they did differently than the groundskeeper at Charlton? Oh well, it won’t impact the gate! 🙂
