Red Army

Truly remarkable ticket sales for the two Doncaster games home and away.
The depth of feeling and support from Addicks has been breathtaking this week. In fact it has been far longer than that, but the crescendo this week has been something special.
Good communication from the club and a well organized sale of tickets will more likely see 3,800 Addicks at the Keepmoat on Sunday lunchtime and an almost sell-out at The Valley for the 2nd leg. Hopefully every fan who wanted a ticket will get one.
I know many long time supporters won’t buy a ticket until our oppressive owner moves on, and I respect each and every one of those men and women, but it only emphasizes that the potential our football club has is interminable. What Lee Bowyer has built not only on the pitch, but among the fanbase is awe-inspiring given all the circumstances and barriers thrown in the way. We have a togetherness not seen for a long, long time.
I’ve jumped on the bandwagon too. Thanks to an old mate who got us tickets, I fly back from Bermuda tomorrow night and will be in Doncaster on Sunday lunchtime.
Come on you Addicks.
Good man and well said
I shall be there shouting my head off
Bon Voyage
Enjoy CA – regrettably I shall be taking over your nom de plume for the semi finals – spending the next 2 weeks in Chicago on business 😦
Well Floyd, there could be a lot worse places to be. Enjoy the Windy City.
indeed there are – BUT, will Fado’s carry League 1 playoffs live – its not a part of their EPL standard fare…
Fado’s is very EPL centric. The Globe near Wrigley might be a better bet
Save travels, CA. Will be there at the Valley next Friday with my two eldest.
A masterstroke if catastrophic planning sees me in Sicily on Sunday, my (#1 non-Watford) lad will be flying the family flag making his way over from Nottingham.
It will be a special special occasion, years of pain I think are finally washing away – bowyer, the team, the fans, we all deserve.
Not too worried about Igor, all Parker has to do is take defenders away from the main man and LTB will do the rest. Wembley beckons.
Genuinely can’t wait for Friday night, like a kid at Christmas.
Safe travels mate
Thanks Steve. I hope #1 non-Watford son enjoyed it as much as me.
