Charlton Athletic 0 Bury 1

Did anyone watch Robinson’s pre-match team selection interview? I didn’t, can’t bear it but any talking on the pitch was embarrassingly muted. No doubt Karlo will have a few words of comfort for us.
It just gets worse doesn’t it. No cohesion, no goals, poor defending. Another early goal conceded with no obvious clue of how to get back into it and let’s make no mistake, these players need to take a considerable share of the blame as well.
14,460 there, supposedly. The same crowd as the earlier fiver match against Rochdale. They can’t even lie now without originality! They’ll be lucky to get that as a total from both of the next two home games with the season now dead in February, that is unless Robinson continues to write his own sacking announcement and pushes us closer to the bottom four.
Knowing our cheeky chappy Scouser he will probably do an interview. Maybe a three parter..
Thank the lord that Roland doesn’t do failure.

Dead man walking: “Their keeper was man of the match”
Oh dear God. That’s my lot. At least it makes it easier not to go. I don’t blame the players – why on earth would they bother – most of them won’t be there next season. Its pitiful what we have become and those that still have their heads up their a**** deserve all they get. I’m off to Belgium.
By many accounts it sounds like it was about 7000, at a bloody fiver! I think that spells out the prospects for next season. This isn’t just about the players, the club is dying with regards to it having a fanbase and an audience. But perhaps our owner is so rich he just doesn’t need one?
I keep thinking it can’t get any worse but it does. I wonder how much more punishment i can take. It’s beginning to feel like self harm.
Hey N Ajose could be great in Div 2.
If we still have him?
Ok Dave you got me thinking. Which players will be gone in the summer? I’m going for:
Rudd
Jackson
Johnson
Watt
Magennis
Ajose
Mavididi
Botaka
Ulvestad
Ahearne-Grant
Byrne
Lennon
Kashi
Aribo
Dasilva
Teixeira
Your turn..
Pathetic it may have been – but seems to me that it is tactics not the players. They do not understand and cannot play 4-2-3-1 – lone stirker, whoever it is, totally isolated and huge gaps in midfield without any organisation whatever, This means the players are running around, chasing the ball and opposition players, leaving gaps which then results in other players chasing whilst losing their positions. Look at positions when the opponents have the ball – back 4 sitting back and gaps in front of them – no sign whatever of organisation eg 2 banks of 4. This is down to the manager – if the team is not suited by 4-2-3-1 – play 4-4-2 – as per the first half of the season.
Interesting CF. Robinson insists on 4-2-3-1 and has had a window to bring in players for the purpose. And he’s had more than 3 months to instill his philosophies. What’s does that say about him?
