And another one gone

Joe Pigott has had his loan extended with Southend United until the end of the season.

The Shrimpers manager Phil Brown said: “It takes that element of doubt away. When you see the quality he has in training, it takes that risk away.”

Pigott has scored twice in three games for Southend and Guy Luzon would never have seen the 21-year old play, so it’s no surprise that he sanctioned it.

Nonetheless what it does mean is that we are down another striker with the transfer deadline ticking.

CA I’m probably in a minority of one , but I think there is (on average) a better chance of churchy scoring a goal than either George or joe , although I do think joe has a decent chance of getting there in a season or so.
I’d be tempted to give churchy a bit of a try in the absence of any better new recruits
    Enjoy your travels
    Cheers

Hey I am a Church-ite too. I even sponsored the little duracell bunny last year. Have thought for a while we could do with a nippy outlet running the channels. We have been so narrow. Maybe Guy will agree.

Just hoping for 3 points tomorrow, doesn’t really matter too much how it happens….
