Uwe makes it 12

He never quite recovered from his tete e tete with Big Bad Bob, who he accused of over celebrating our winner in his space.

I took it upon myself to subsequently follow Uwe Rosler’s after match comments, and the German turned into a right old sour puss, this after a scintillating spell at Wigan after he joined them last December from Brentford. His record this season is about as far away as last as you can get. One win in 12 games, and despite signing 4 players on deadline day including one Andy Delort, Wigan dropped into the bottom 3 after losing their last game to local rivals Bolton and today Uwe Rosler was sacked.

I have always admired Dave Whelan, not least because he played the game and is a local lad done good, but also because he appeared to give his managers both time and support. However Whelan is having his very own Sir Alex Ferguson moment and whoever he next turns to will become his 3rd manager since Roberto Martinez left 18 months ago.

The bottom four of The Championship have all recently replaced their managers and I make that 12 for the season in our division, half of the total managers sacked this season across all four divisions.

José Riga has spoken out about his time at Blackpool. What a dignified and nice bloke he is and I wonder how long it is before he’s back working for Roland Duchâtelet?
