Thank the Mexican gods I will be travelling from early tomorrow morning until late-ish tomorrow evening and therefore won’t be drawn into the crazy self-aggrandizing Sky Sports torture chamber of the final day of the summer transfer window.

Most of the targets that have been attached to the Addicks, by either thin air or a little more substance have gone or appeared to have gone somewhere else. Mind you most of Peeters’s summer signings were not players that most of us were aware off before they appeared in the fan’s consciousness.

I think Roly, Katrien and Bob have something up their sleeve, but fortunately for me I won’t be pressing the refresh key a million times from dawn to dusk.
