Son-dial
My son arrived here on Saturday night and we have been flying around and squeezing as much fun and togetherness in as is possible, with the added ingredient of my 2-year old daughter thrown in, who is besotted by him.
His first day was Sunday and unusually it rained the whole day. He didn’t look impressed as he had left Kent Saturday morning just as the UK weather was improving but normality soon returned and it’s been hot and sticky since and we haven’t ventured too far from the water.
Yesterday though I was at a work lunch at the beach (yes I know tough life) and my son was swimming in the ocean. An hour later he came out covered in a rash, which I think was caused by “sea lice“. I haven’t read about them being an issue this summer but they were last year, and my son suffered then as well. “Sea lice” are jellyfish larvae up from the Caribbean, a little lost mind as they have travelled about 1,000 miles north. Anyway, nothing that a cold bath and a tube of hydrocortisone cream couldn’t sort out.
I actually hate the weather here this time of year, and you may have noticed that I try my best to avoid it. The heat I can deal with but the humidity is a killer, and is often above 90%. I hope you are not eating whilst reading this but I am very fed up sweating constantly.
My son is here until next Thursday night when we fly home together, but fishing, boating, my birthday and a hurricane are all on the agenda before then.

See you two soon at forest but have a great time over there. Coyr
Thanks mate.
