Chesterfield 0 Charlton Athletic 4
A performance of champions tonight. The Spireites had won their last two games at home (Wednesday and Bournemouth), defensively they have been very sound at the B2Net and of course they are scrapping. To run out 4-0 winners was, well, a performance to warm the soul.
I think we all deep down hoped that BWP would run a little wild tonight, and he did. Although (I haven’t seen the goals) his first and third might be appealed to the dubious goals committee, but whatever, we have our Bradley back….. and with a little luck he might have had 9 goals these last few days!!
The radio commentary was a joy, and to listen to those Addicks serenade the boys tonight, well it makes your heart go woo-woo-woo.
No commentary for me Saturday, see you at Bournemouth Charlton.

Powell-ometer: Unsurprisingly went with an unchanged line up, although Russell was recalled to the bench. Powelly’s off to The Etihad on Thursday to show that Mancini bloke a thing or two!
Elsewhere: Stevenage, who had lost their last two games, came back from 2-down to nick a point at home to Huddersfield to add some cream to our cake. Keith Curle had his 3rd 1-0 win as County moved level on points with Boro after winning at Rochdale. Hartlepool won at Bury and Oldham and Colchester drew 1-1.
