Racon to Millwall

The majority of player’s contracts expire on June 30th, it should then become a whole lot clearer who we are left with for next year and hopefully then some of the rumours of players coming in become a reality.

Sky Sports have broken the news that Therry Racon is undergoing a medical at Millwall and will sign a 2-year contract at the New Den.

Frankly Racon never did it. He promised so much but only ever put in a performance when either he was incensed at being a sub or his contract was coming up, or possibly when Kenny Jackett was in the stands!

He should have been the best midfielder in the division, yet he was the most frustrating. When we were at the Bournemouth friendly a couple of years ago a couple of my mates had a bet that he would score 10 goals during the upcoming season. This after he hit the bar with a thunderbolt. The fact that he scored 9 goals in 4 seasons says it all. £6,000 a week, thank you Millwall. Let’s move on.
