Wo-wo-wo-woah

CAFC Player of the Year tonight and with 43% of the vote Jose Semedo swept the fan’s vote. Johnnie Jackson, who may well have won if it wasn’t for the injury that has kept him out of the majority of Powell’s games was second with Rob Elliot third. 17-year old Callum Harriot was the Young Player of the Year.

My investment is sponsoring the Portugese Millwall hater has been vindicated, it's just a shame that I won't be able to attend the Sponsor's Dinner at The Valley on Thursday as I'll be here in Vancouver.

Of course many think we should have cancelled the POTY this season, and I looked up who won the same trophy in 1973/74, the current lowest league place (14th in Division 3) since World War I, and which could potentially be broken next Saturday at 5pm. The winner was goalkeeper John Dunn who eventually lost his place to Graham Tutt.

Didn’t realise you were sponsoring Jose Semedo this year and wondered why My gaskets hadn’t picked this up in the programme, so just had a peek for it. I realise now because the printing is very generously in font size 1 which I can no longer read with the naked eye. In fact, the whole sponsorship half-page reminds me of why I didn’t bother renewing mine (no-one bothered to call me and the photograph from the dinner never turned up).
