Ah, I’m glad you found me hiding over here, well not exactly hiding but setting up home at WordPress after six years with Blogger. I am no Tim Berners-Lee but I had outgrown Blogger and was getting frustrated by it’s limitations.
My Blogger page chicagoaddick.blogspot.com will remain but will be put into retirement and all my future posts will continue on here.
On the right hand-side there you can read a lot more about me than you really need to know, I also explain my Blogger archive and also link to my back catalogue of travel posts.
I would love to hear of any comments you have, as always.

WordPress has been on my mind since Darryl made the move but I haven’t been compelled yet and still feel I owe Google! Didn’t know they were shelving archive although I guess the cost of storage will affect WordPress similarly at some stage…..What will be your next live match?

Hey , I think you lost all posts while moving from blogger.com to WordPress.com. The better think that you can do migrated your all posts from Blogger.com to self hosted wordpress blog.take the help of http://bloggertowp.org team.

Dave – well I am bit miffed as it was going to be Orient away but it got swtiched to the Friday and that is the night I fly over. Then I am back in-between the Exeter and Huddersfield away games but mates and I decided that we needed an overnight and I just am not going to have the time to do that on this visit.
So, probably not until October now.
Nitun – I didn’t migrate all my posts over to WP, they remain at http://www.chicagoaddick.blogspot.com
I am usually late to comment but it is time difference, not ‘indifference’. This is a great call and once again shows the quality that you are. Since Dave switched ‘Forever’ to WordPress, it has been way more straightforward to publish posts, etc.
I have updated your link on the picks site and I am sure looking forward to spending even more time here!

I’m another who’s been contemplating the move, but as I’ve been remiss in “talking” as much recently I’ve left it.
Now, I’ve hopefully got time back…it’s back on the agenda, as I too have been getting frustrated with Blogger…
