AMB signs for Dundee United
It’s hard to imagine that Ashley Maynard-Brewer has been at Charlton for 10 years after moving from Perth in Australia.
Ashley has signed only an initial 6-month deal for Dundee United, who are 8th in the Scottish Premiership. Any fee was described as undisclosed.
Recommended to the club by ex-Addick and Aussie, Andy Peterson, AMB joined the academy in 2015.
AMB did spend a season at Ross County so has had a taste of life north of the border.
Hopefully he makes a success of it at Tannadice Park. He has been a great professional and is a very good shot-shopper. AMB only played in the Carabao Cup game at Cambridge this season, but in total made 87 Charlton appearances.
The very best of luck, Ashley.

I always liked AMB. I think that he has been hard done by in more recent times.
As you have said CA, AMB was a very good shot stopper. He had a somewhat unfortunate career at Charlton as every time you thought he had secured that No 1 position he got an injury. Our current No 1 was signed amidst plaudits that we had signed a top keeper, he has yet to prove that to me, and AMB fell further down the pecking order.
I think Ash was a bit hard by at times but never seemed to complain publicly. I wish him all the very best in Scotland.
