Drawn away at Cambridge
Cambridge United will be our opposition in the Carabao Cup 2nd Round, drawn tonight.
We faced the U’s in pre-season and in each of the last four L1 seasons.
Looking at the 2nd Round Southern Zone draw, whilst a home game against West Ham, Fulham or Brentford would’ve been nice, there wasn’t many plum draws to be had, so it is off to Cambridgeshire on the week of August 25th for Nathan Jones’ side.

Nathan Jones mentioned he’d like a big tie in the second round for the fans. With European qualifying teams not entering in this round and the rest split between north and south, probably the biggest team in the draw were Charlton?
