Darth Vader
No, not a new rumoured signing but the ruthless villain and father of Luke Skywalker, of course.
I met Darth last night, he’s quite frightening in person, as I was lucky to be part of a group that was given a behind the scenes close up look of the Star Wars: The Rise of the Resistance ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World in Orlando.
I was clearly working 🙄, as my days of trawling around a massively hot and steamy Disney World are over, until I become a grandparent at least.
A client set it up for us, and following drinks and dinner at the Star Wars Launch Bay, we were handed a private ride on one of Hollywood Studio’s most immersive attractions.
The Rise of the Resistance puts guests in the middle of a battle between the Resistance and the First Order, cleverly making you active participants in their little feud.
The ride starts in an encampment room being stared down by a big gang of stormtroopers. We were soon captured and sent to a detention centre where we were interrogated, not really, although the First Order officers had clearly not read the Disney ‘happiest place in the world’ HR manual.
We were of course rescued by The Resistance and were then flown through a variety of thrilling scenes on trackless ride vehicles, which was very spectacular, before ultimately escaping the First Order Star Destroyer.
It was very good and the tech extraordinary, and spoiler alert, even the sudden drop was cool.
You could tell the English kids are out on summer holidays, as there were English voices everywhere, but if you ever find yourself in a sticky and humid Hollywood Studio’s I recommend putting yourself in the hands of Kylo Ren.

Can Kylo play a midfield role for us ? 😃
Of course. The force will be with us in midfield 😆
😃
Could give Reebok issues getting him kitted out 😃
Do Reebok make lightsabers?
On the Thailand CAFC site the Admin is suggesting that he has seen reports from some S E London journalists us suggesting that Godden has apparently been told that he will be a player who comes on and he has a choice to stay or leave.
This is a rumour, and as of now 17:30 Thai time Ricky Cawley has not posted and please this can not be true and did ask where and what source he got the information from.
Yes, we know he cannot play every game but 22 goal last season, and hope this is not true and in any case CAFC need a goal-scoring striker and they are very hard to find.
Leaburn and Kanu they have to step up and can they?
Thoughts and really hope he stays and gives his all and we do not want another player who stays for one season and see May has gone to Huddersfield.
Thoughts
I don’t believe that is true at all. I heard Godden picked up a slight knock in the first few days of pre-season training and they want him to fully recover. He therefore will be a little behind the others.
