Keeper Kaminski signed
Luton Town’s Thomas Kaminski has become the Addicks second signing of the summer. Noted as fee undisclosed, Kaminski has signed a three-year deal.
The 32-year old Belgian has made close to 500 appearances including 38 in the Premier League and 160 in The Championship.
I understand the loyalty towards Will Mannion, but we have to improve the level of quality across the squad, especially the spine of the team. The Championship is a whole different level to where Mannion has played his football.
I would think we will see Ashley Maynard-Brewer depart, with Mannion becoming second choice.
Kaminski arrives with ringing endorsements from both Blackburn and Luton fans and he’s been sought after by many clubs across Europe this summer.
Posing in the new green jersey Kaminski said “I’m really excited to join the club. When I first spoke to the gaffer he came across very, very determined and very passionate about what we wants to do and what he’s going to do. That was a big, big motivating factor for me to come to Charlton.”

I wonder what has happened with the rumoured signing of Isaac Olaofe from Stockport County 🤔

A good keeper but AMB will be aware that he won’t be first choice and fear that he could want move if he’s not prepared to battle to be number 1 again.

Obviously he realises what Thomas will be getting so wants a bigger amount himself, even though he has never played at this level before, before putting pen to paper, as the Stockport fee as already been agreed! 🙂
I think you might well be right about this Stockport striker and yes, it seems to have gone on too long and not comfortable about it and has the fee been agreed, let alone personal terms and yes I can see the players who got us promoted should be given a chance and Manning though not played at this level before proved himself last season and is a decent GK and if this new GK has signed he would not have done for a place on the bench.
Also, he must be on a very decent wage, but we await the other few signings.

It would have been great marketing if they did. As long as when kids drag their parents to the store to buy it, they can.
I suppose AMB will be the sacrificial lamb in this deal, shame.
