New home kit

The new shirt is a grower, and importantly the right shade of red. I like the detail, although I think most Addicks will point to the black sleeve cuff but we’ve long toyed with black and it does appears on the badge.

Really not a lot you can do with the home shirt apart from making it appealing, which Reebok have and, shocker, it is already in the club shop for sale.

In saying that there is a poster on Charlton Life who should be handed the job of designing the kits, his depictions are excellent.

The away kit will hopefully avoid any non-Charlton colours, they can save that for the third kit.

Age and belly expansion has meant I have not bought a shirt for many years decades, but I’d be interested in what kind of other Reebok wear they roll out.

That reminds me, I have suddenly had a penchant for collecting badges or pins as they call them here. I have quite a few, but does anyone know where a wide variety are for sale?

I stopped buying the shirts several years back. £50+ for a piece of far-eastern tat. No thanks. I bought a retro ‘polo’ style shirt for about £20 three years ago, that does me nicely.
This latest Reebok incarnation is a bit meh ………………….

Hi welcome to the badge collecting club. If I forget to pick up a badge at a game, most often a non-league game, I then search Terry’s Badges, Website: http://www.terrysbadges.co.uk Email: enquiries@terrysbadges.co.uk. Keep up the brilliant articles on our wonderful club.

Terry has nearly all non-league stock. Any other links, Garry?

The new kit is slowly growing on me….but the pricing is not good…but I expect fans will purchase despite the high cost.
I like the black training option and looks classy.
    I better get saving !!!!
