Odel Offiah interest
The steadfast Rich Cawley has linked us with Brighton defender Odel Offiah. The 22-year old of rugby legend Martin, comes with quite the reputation.
Offiah played 44 games last season whilst on loan at Blackpool.
He has a year to run on his contract at Brighton, and they are said to be open to a permanent move. He has made 11 appearances for Albion, including 6 in the Premier League and has been spoken highly off by both Roberto De Zerbi and Fabian Hurzeler.
Offiah is a right sided defender and is comfortable in a back four or as a right wing back.
This seems more than just an unsubstantiated rumour, but QPR are also interested.

I saw this and as you say, seems to have some substance to it. If he has half the pace and power his uncle had he could be a real asset. He feels like a Charlton player, would be a great signing.
Hi Odel,
Nice to see you…..just sign on the dotted line….thank you and welcome to Charlton!!!
His uncle was known as “Chariots” for obvious reasons.
Brighton are an established premier league club and here’s another good young player who’s not quite experienced enough to play at that level but can clearly do a job a level or two below the EPL.
I can see a theme running with the players we are being linked to/have signed, not just Blackpool, but talented young players who are capable of playing at Championship level and can grow with the club. It says to me that perhaps we are looking at a season of consolidation before maybe challenging the season after next.
