Wycombe, if..
Not very exciting is it, if we get through of course.
My brother is telling me it opens up our path to the final š¤, I will probably side with Nathan Jones who is bound to say he would want to avoid another League One side.
Wycombe beat Portsmouth on Friday night, weāll have to see what happens on Tuesday to us.
It was noticeable how low some of the weekendās attendances were, which I think tells us more about the ridiculous scheduling more than the loss of interest in the FA Cup. There were still some good crowds and very healthy away followings.
One thing that is really annoying me though is the abandonment of replays. Just like in previous rounds this really is a kick in the balls to clubs such as Tamworth and Doncaster.
I donāt remember Premier League clubs pushing back against the expansion of European competitions, or needless post-season tournaments on the other side of the world. They just donāt want to fulfil fixtures which they see as ābeneathā them.
The elite clubs are not even in the FA Cup until the 3rd Round. The FA are such weak w*nkers arenāt they. Too much idle talk about supporting the grass roots pyramid of our game.

We must have broken so many mirrors and walked under ladders to get this draw…avoiding any Premiership club to raise our spirits.
PNE will be difficult anyway but would still like to have a better draw.
take a look at Sky Sports FA Cup draw on their website. They have already awarded the tie to PNE š¤¬š
According to Sky Sports cup draw on their website we have already been knocked out ššš

OK Steve…..we get the point !! LOL š¤£š¤£š¤£
Blimey Steve, we heard you the first time š. (Deleted replicates)
I think somebody maybe trying to tell us something here like steve said š¤ š
Not a great draw but probably irrelevent as i don’t see us beating Preston.
Re, attendances over the weekend. You do know it’s been bloody freezing here for the last few days, while you bask in the warmth of Florida š š
Attendances for FA Cup ties have been low for quite a few years, most teams play their bench/squad players and are focusing on their league. For Prem clubs those chasing Europe is where the money is and those at the other end of the table are acutely aware that a key player getting clogged or suspended could cost them more than the loss of that player for a few matches. The fans know this and many book the match off.
Regarding Wycombe, assuming we get past PNE, it’s the sort of tie that fails to stir the blood. They are chasing promotion, we are hoping to a play-off spot, it won’t be televised, why not just toss a coin?
If we beat Preston we might also be facing a fixture backlog – we have a league game, Stevenage scheduled for 4th Round day which will have to rescheduled and there’s no date yet for the Crawley match. If we lose tomorrow it might be a blessing in disguise.
Hi CA. Couldnāt agree with you more . Tamworth did enough to earn a money spinning weāll deserved replay at THFC & that would have been the fans BIG day out ⦠Just shameful how our beautiful game is going !! š.
Have to agree Kev….money over proper football these days…pity and shameful for true football fans….oh how the game is changing fir the worse in my humble opinion
