Sam Walker leaves
The goalkeeper. Sam Walker worried me every time he came for a ball, but worry no longer CA as he has left the building and signed for Bradford City on a free.
Walker’s short term contract at The Valley expired and the Bantams deemed him good enough to bring him in as their number one after Harry Lewis was sold to Carlisle United.
So, who will be on the bench on Saturday then?

Good point Mr Chicago. We do seem to suffer with every move the club makes. A lifelong supporter for about 70 years now retired in Cyprus. I think if I was living back in the UK I might just jack it in and watch the garden grow. Graham
No you wouldn’t. 70 years is a lot to shake! Hope you are enjoying Cyprus. Lovely island.
I assume Henry Molyneux will be on the bench unless Harry Isted has recovered from injury, he must be close to returning?
Good luck to Sam. he did a job in the cup matches and filled a gap in the squad when Harry was injured. I didn’t see enough to make me think letting him go was a mistake, but like a lot of players he probably needed regular football and a settled place in the team. Playing behind our defence would test experienced keepers.
Playing behind our defence would have given even the great Gordon Banks the heebeejeebies!
