Tears and fears
It’s been an emotional last few days in Bermuda. We’ve had the full gambit from hopes and fears to regrets and relish. So much to miss, so much to look forward to.
The moving company have taken every precious personal effect, and more. We have sold stuff, donated stuff and dumped more beside.
My out-on-her-feet-other-half and our daughter have made it to Sarasota, only after a nightmare journey mind, and me and the dog are bouncing between a vacuous house and friends who are kindly looking after us.
We leave tomorrow. I am nervous for the dog, who has spent much of the last few days looking at me with his head tilted as if to say ‘what the f**k is going on?’
Hopefully all will soon be revealed as we start our next journey in life in a rental car south to Florida from New York on Wednesday!

Best wishes for a safe and happy journey for you all…I’m sure the dog will be fine if your with him.
Always a time of mixed emotions. Best of luck with the last leg and here’s to being reunited and your new life in Sarasota!
Many thanks Bristol.
Bon voyage.
Thank you Clive.
Let’s hope that yours and the dogs trip is better than your wife and daughters and you all settle down quickly. You and your family sound very resourceful, so I’m sure you’ll be fine with perhaps the odd minor hiccup.
Wishing you good luck in the future and look forward to reading future bloggs.
Many thanks Brian.
Don’t worry about your dog, he will be as happy as larry that you are actually taking him with you! He’s your friend for life remember no matter what, so that journey will be no problem for him at all, as long as he can be by your side. 🙂
Good Luck and have a pleasent journey
Good luck mate, no looking back
Cheers Steve.
Good luck with the move
Thank you John.
Appreciate you’re rather busy right now Chig. But the Away (2nd) kit has been announced. I knew it would happen. Blue, chuffin’ Millwall colour, horrible.
At least the Red and the White kits are decent (IMO)
Is it black or blue?
Now you mention it, I’m not sure. The club kit page calls it caviar !!!! Still bloody awful.
Just think of that magical moment when the ponderosa finally looms into view and you are home.
