Kirk joins Blackpool

Blackpool happily ensconced in mid-table in The Championship after winning the play-off’s last season have signed Charlie Kirk on loan with a view to a permanent move in the summer.
Neil Critchley obviously sees something in the 24-year old and Kirk will move back at least temporarily to the north-west and be united with old Crewe team mate Owen Dale.
It will be interesting to see how Kirk’s career develops under Critchley over the remainder of the season.

Thats the right way to do, if someone has hardly played like Kirk in an effectively quite poor team anyway, Blackpool can offload him back to us if he doesn’t perform, whereas Charlton are completely the opposite trying to sign a player on a permanant contract, rather than a loan, who has not played for a year at Boro, as they have been out with an ACL injury. Therefore if he isn’t the same player as previous or doesn’t perform we will be stuck with him for most probably three years!
Where’s the common sense in that, surely we should be striking a similar deal that we have an option to buy at the end of the season, especially with some of the players we have already either got on loan or signed this season that have not performed? If I was Sangaard, I would be questioning Mr Gallen’s reasoning behind this, as he has hardly covered himself in glory with a fair proportion of the players he has recommended and brought in so far!
Kiss goodbye to £500k
And people say Thomas has no money!
