Cup game on TV

Bit of a shame really as I’d imagine a night in either Newcastle or Manchester would have appealed to many Addicks, but the game has been chosen for TV and at the worst time if you were planning on going. Mind you one could now make a weekend of it!

ITV 4 will show the game at either Gateshead or Altrincham at 7.45pm on Friday night, December 2nd.

Altrincham are mid-table of the National League and Gateshead are in a similar position one league down in the National League North. The Addicks have never previously met either side and they replay next week.

Meanwhile more than a 1,000 Addicks will make the journey to Burton on Saturday. Jacko will be missing both Conor Washington and Chris Gunter, so he may turn to Deji Elerewe and Josh Davison. Harry Arter is fit, but Inniss, Lavelle, Leko and Matthews remain out. Papa Souare is also a doubt as the caretaker takes his fourth league game.
