Nottingham Forest 0 Charlton Athletic 1

Again, I’m not too au fait with the game yesterday as I was tied to a seat in a big conference hall resorting to checking my phone. But, that was a fantastic result. A proper Curbs’ performance that one.
At times we had to dig deep it seems, but we played well, were a threat going forward, and oh my what a goal that was from Taylor, and what a peach of a pass from Naby.
Only Naby of course could straight after almost score a volleyed own goal. A top performance from Taylor and more solid at the back. That was a superb way to bounce back from Saturday, and I’m very happy for the 800-odd who made the journey to see us win in our black kit for the first time.
Addicks at the City Ground:
Bow: “Not many teams have taken four points from Forest this season, let alone come here and got three. It should have been more, we should have won by more.”
Elsewhere: Wigan and Middlesbrough drew, Hull lost at Blackburn 3-0 and Barnsley went down at home to Birmingham. Tonight Luton did beat Sheffield Wednesday, but Stoke lost at home to Preston and Huddersfield were turned over at home by Cardiff 3-0.

Love your blog mate but you got one thing wrong. Curbs has gone this was a good Bow result
😆 But it did take me back!
I’ll give you that
10 top performances and then Tomer Hemed. Bit of a liability at times and shouldn’t get near the starting eleven once the injuries have cleared.
Great result, great goal, but the Forest manager thought we were a soft touch and rested five players because of their game this weekend against WBA. The defence played well against their weakened attack. Both mid-fields were moderate but Taylor upfront was fantastic, he covered so much ground. Oztumer and Hemed failed to impress although it was probably their best game in the shirt. Doughty should be playing further forward I am not convinced that full/wing back is his position. Although he played a few games in the U18s as a full /wing back he was more impressive as a goal scoring winger.
