No. 11 will play

Mansfield Town. Ball no. 11 was pulled out of the hat pretty early and we will make the trip to the League Two side on November 10th, unless it gets put on the box.
Sadly, two teams I follow, Eastbourne Borough and Welling fell at the last Qualifying Round stage but Maidstone, Ebbsfleet, Aldershot and Bromley all made it through and all got rewarded with home ties. Bromley’s game at home to Peterborough has TV written all over it.
Other potential TV picks include Haringey Borough v AFC Wimbledon and Metropolitan Police v Newport County. I hope we are not on the box frankly. Takes the pressure off and means that more Addicks will travel to Field Mill, which I’d suspect will the first time for many. Our last game against The Stags was in 1978!
Generally the BBC seem to like going to a non-league club who are at home in these ties as the ground will sell out regardless of the opposition and create the right atmosphere. Haringey – Wimbledon looks too Londoncentric to be the televised match, I suspect the match that gets the nod will be the winner of the Hitchin-Leatherhead replay, whoever wins will play Solihull Moors at home, but Bromley-Posh is a good shout.
