JFC tore his ACL in training yesterday, and whilst getting another player injured in training raises serious concerns, having done the same myself playing football, I know how innocuous it can be.
Seeing this news is heartbreaking, for Jake, and for every Addick. Possibly one of the best midfield operators in League One, we were expecting big things this season from him and on the eve of the season with Lee Bowyer already having a skeleton of a squad plugged with academy players it is devastating news.
Update Sat 4th: Sadly confirmed.

If he is not replaced it is obvious Lee cannot find anyone as good or better than him, even with an injury.
Season knackered already. Who will he rest at MK Dons as we usually fiield the U23 squad.
And the Check a trade trophy. We won’t have any first teamers to field.
Can’t blame Robbo now as the field hospital is much fuller than before. I actually saw Vetokele pull up at Welling. He was only running after a pass into the box. I could do that and I am 69.
