Proper lower league..
The second consecutive year that we drop out of the FA Cup before Christmas. We can join the other lower league clubs playing a league game on 3rd Round day. Oh joy.
I know next to nothing of the game as I was on a plane at the time, although the onboard wifi did kick in just as the Dons scored their 2nd, and it was pretty crappy after that.
Our paper thin squad is looking more and more translucent with each game. We sounded too open at the back, and lacklustre in attack. In saying that we got back into the game after going behind when KAG scored his second in two games.
Then in the period either side of half time we appeared to have the better opportunities but once again failed to capitalize. Instead they took the lead and then converted a penalty to put the gloss on it.
One plus, two if you include Ahearne-Grant’s goal, was the return of Harry Lennon but that was about it. We are certainly struggling at the moment.

Naby Sarr has quite rightly won plaudits this season but had a shocker today, at fault for 2 goals. Re the paper thin squad, even Robinson acknowledged this when a fan greeted the 88th minute substitution of Lennon with ‘is that all we’ve got’, he replied ‘yes, I can’t lie, yes’.
KAG did look lively and it was a shame he went off. I can see why Leon Best has been given a contract for only 60 days…I hope I’m wrong but I can’t see this squad being strong enough to get promotion. Over to you Roland.
