Another farcical Carabao Cup draw last night, with our tie and three others home and away venues being mixed up. We were drawn at home to Norwich, but then it was apparent that we should have been away.
Norwich were seeded, as were Brentford, Crystal Palace and Watford and they each had their ties around the wrong way. Among the confusion the dopey TV hosts also appeared to forget that both Newport and West Ham were meant to play away due to home ground issues.
It was a total cock-up but both Charlton and Norwich had fun with it.
Back to the west country tomorrow, with a question mark who will play the lone striker. Probably Billy Clarke I would say, with Ben Reeves playing behind, although there has to be a question mark over his fitness. I wonder if Fosu or Holmes could play there with Ahearne-Grant taking a wide spot?
The other thing for Robinson to ponder is if he feels Aribo and Konsa can replace Forster-Caskey and Bauer, but I would suspect he would stick with the side that overcame Bristol Rovers with no place for Tony Watt in the starting line-up.
