New kit…. ugh!
The introduction of new kits never usually bothers me, my only bugbear is that whoever manufactures it they get the correct shade of ‘Charlton’ red right, but next season’s effort introduced today nearly had me fall of my chair.
Far too much white, and what’s with the red shorts? Middlesbrough must be wondering where their kit went and just as an aside, wasn’t Chief Commercial Officer Ben Kensell at Arsenal before he came to The Valley?
Finally and perhaps the biggest disappointment is the University of Greenwich logo. That is not their logo and reminds me of a Sunday league kit when the logo has been ironed on by Mum’s. White shorts also would allow for a neater Mitsubishi logo as oppose to a white patch.
The white shoulders I could abide, very Keith Peacock, but…., oh and I wonder how much cash this is going to put Mum’s and Dad’s back, especially when Nike sell the indentical shirt for £18. A slave to the Nike, and with the shirt clashing with anyone wearing red or white, then I can’t wait for the away one….

My wife hates football but I pointed at the new kit and asked her what she thought and she said “looks like a Power Ranger”. Think its the dummy’s stance?
