Despite the presence of Dale Stephens and Yann Kermorgant in the starting line up, we were well beaten by Doncaster last night at the Keepmoat.

I am sure Donny will feel justice was done, but from our stand point, the team never even showed up. There was effort of course, but Powell’s patched up team was simply not good enough on the night.

Despite looking as if we were set up 3-5-2 we were apparently very flat and after Lawrie Wilson was sent off after conceding a penalty already a goal down it was simply damage limitation after that.

Powell described it as our worst performance of the season, and the timing could hardly have been worse, especially so for Addicks fan Seb Lewis, who was attending his 750th consecutive Charlton game and the 400 or so others who made it up there have my utmost respect and deserved better.
