He’s also scored 14 more goals than his step brother too. Good news that he is staying, we don’t want to start dismantling the squad now and the varied talents of Haynes, Hayes and Clarke have yet to prove they can be as dangerous as BWP in front of goal at this level.

I personally wasn’t aware the 25-appearance trigger, and I am sure accompanied by a further medical, was actually in his contract when we signed him a year ago. There were many worried, particularly, when he was banging them in pre-December that he would see out his contract and be allowed to leave on a free in July, but he has shown loyalty and so have we.
