It’s Christmas time
Flying home tonight for Christmas. We will whip round to pick my son up in Kings Hill early morning after a strong cup of Costa Coffee then drive up to my other half’s sister in the Oxfordshire countryside.
Her brother is around the corner but we will base ourselves at my unofficial sister-in-law’s house, which will have a typically frantic festive feel to it and I’m really looking forward to it.
On Boxing Day we travel back to London to see my brother and parents for a couple of days and then the final part of the tour takes us up to Essex to stay with good friends until after New Year.
Not for the first time Sky have outfoxed me. A carefully laid plan to be within a half-hour afternoon drive on New Years Eve to Leyton now leaves me having (the balls) to rearrange other people’s evening plans. Can’t bloody believe it. I’m more hopeful for Brentford.
If you are travelling this week, be safe.

Have a great Christmas CA, and congratulations on continuing to keep the quality of your blog so high. Hopefully we’ll get a beer and a hello in on one of your visits someday !
Thanks AFKA. I hope to see a few games in the second half of the season and we’ll definitely catch up.
