Bothered

Well no, well yes. Millwall’s victory today was the icing on the cake of a desperate season for the Addicks. A cake that had also Big Sam’s firefighting rescue of Palace inside it. We can sleep well tonight knowing that just Barnet and AFC Wimbledon finished below us amongst all of the capital’s 13 professional clubs. Thank you Roland, just think how lucky we are you don’t do failure.
Millwall leaving the division and one of Exeter and Blackpool joining us means we are in for long away days next season with Wigan, Blackburn, Rotherham, Plymouth and Doncaster all added to the undoubted Tuesday night excursions.
As for Millwall they have a supportive and sensible owner with a knowledgeable and smart CEO, who appointed and backed a home grown young manager, who has built a young and exciting team who never, ever give up and have successfully navigated the route out of this god forsasken division. Some of their fans though of course cant help themselves.
It ain’t Millwall’s fault that we are a basket case but look on the bright side, maybe we have the chance of collecting 6 extra points next season, which we would normally throw down the toilet. Millwall may miss their two cup finals though 😉
Of course we’re all bothered, hopefully this dents the season ticket sales for the Belgians c$&@s.
Young exciting team? Millwall? Average players who relentlessly lump the ball in the direction of a thug up front who proudly explained in a recent newspaper article that he sets out to get the opposing centre half sent.
…that should read sent off.
And to add to my complete depression I sit here listening to the sound of a full Valley – full of teenagers watching something or other. Makes me want to weep. Thank you so much Roland – now p*** off.
LP – you may find this hard to believe but I am not a Millennial. What an earth was that all about today??
Apparently they were youtubers. I am mystified – but I believe it was all in a good cause and they certainly sounded like it was fun. All Roly has to do is sign them up and the place will be full every week.
