Proud 🏴

Wonderful scenes tonight at Wembley. Congratulations to the England team, feeling very proud.
The men could learn a lot from their female counterparts including sportsmanship for one. Loved the post match interviews, such natural connectivity and passion, and not an ego in sight.
What a manager Sarina Wiegman is too. Legendary.
Well done girls, well done England. Inspirational and I hope transformational as well.

So proud of the girls! Our international system is working and we’ve success to prove it. Think the mens team under Gareth have also set the bar high. Both managers are intelligent and are great ambassadors for our country. The disappointment was fans behaviour at the mens final but the manager nor the players are responsible for thick supporters drinking excessively.
Just wish she was the Englands Men’s team manager, as appears she knows how to get the best out of her players, when to make subsitutions and likes to play on the front foot as much as possible, none of this continuous back and sideways passing!
Southgate please take note, thats how to play attractive attacking football, which the fans love, not this dull old defensive football played mostly in your own half!
The last five years have been the most successful period on record that’s what fans want….Two semi’s & a final! Internationally before Southgate we were an embarrassment. Venables had a strong side didn’t make the final!!
Totally brilliant performance from the England team and Germany…..honest,skillful,passionate and committed football from players.
The men’s game needs to learn things from the game…..no signs of cheating and trying to con the officials.
Let’s not forget the support the fans gave, just happy smiley faces everywhere, no fan segregation and no waking up the following morning to embarraassing newspaper headlines about drunken, loutish behaviour….or worse.
Yes proud to be English for once.
Great stuff – and not an ego in sight.
Harry “don’t you know who I am” Maguire and many other areosoles like him should hang their heads in shame and get back onto twitter asap.
1000% agree houndal….many players are like Maguire….too much money, inflated egos and lack of talent…..we the fans ( especially the media)are all at fault for treating them as icons…..false gods !!!…..they are not the messiah just very naughty boys !!!
Agreed Trevor. My married daughter took our two young grandsons to one of the women’s Amex games and everyone had a great time. No loutish behaviour AND no disgusting swearing which happens a lot at the Valley, even in the Family area. I wouldn’t take youngsters to a Charlton game for that reason and I’m sure a lot of Dads feel the same.
