I ❤️ Hummel
I haven’t bought a Charlton shirt for years, that tends to happen with age and paunch, and no lad’s holidays to wear it on. Yet, what a temptation it is this year once the charlatans have been eradicated of course.
A couple of quite beautiful kits from those Danish geniuses at Hummel.
The away kit is a stunning retro take on the Admiral ‘Woolwich’ shirt from the late 80’s. If you look at that grey Admiral kit below – what player do you immediately think off? Answer in the comments.
Then, as for the red home kit. Plain, simple, quite delicious. The sword motif within the fabric is quite brilliant. If only they made them not so tight.
Great news also to have new Addick supporting kit sponsors, and those logos work well. The goalkeeper home kit is yellow and the away orange.
I think the third kit is released tomorrow, which we may not actually wear looking at the other team’s colours. Possibly away at Bristol Rovers?

Hopefully TS would have no interest in replacing Hummel. They’ve been a bright spark throughout the last 4 seasons. Think they only have one year left.
