Solly being forced out

News breaking this morning by someone close to the situation that yesterday before kick off Chris Solly was dropped from the squad and Johnnie Jackson from the starting XI. This at the insistence of Ms Meire. The reason? Both Solly and Jacko were a little bit too honest at Thursday night’s sponsors’ dinner.

A lot of stuff came out of that evening with almost every player that was willing to talk about off the field activities damning in their comments of the leadership and direction of the club. Almost to a man they agreed that this is the most unnecessary of relegations.

Some players comments were unattributed, some weren’t. It is believed that Solly told one supporters that Meire attempted to get him loaned to Gillingham following the signing of Marco Motta. Solly told Meire where to go and apparently he is still in a state of disbelief. Solly, who has given everything to the club as a man and boy and has played 200 1st team games not good enough according to Pinocchio. And of course she would know.

Jackson too told supporters on Thursday eloquently as you would expect, a few stories to back up the carnage we already know about. Other players were very critical also, young and old.

Jackson openly saluted the covered end yesterday before the game as Roland Out chants boomed out of it. Jacko, as honest and principled as the day is long doesn’t need to hide anymore. He is worth more than that, he has more integrity in his little toe than Meire has in her whole body.

It is also understood that Stephen Henderson will be the first player out of the door if this ownership is still here in the summer. Henderson has been very vocal in his opinions inside the club, which would explain his banishment and catelogue of fabled injuries.

Henderson, let us not forget, was the man who faced reporters after the Huddersfield debacle when Fraeye and Meire hid, gutless and lily-livered. How can we allow these criminals to carry on? They are stealing our club and everything it stands for. What Solly, Jackson and Henderson stand for.

Burnley will be my last game at The Valley until they leave, I feel like I’m going though a messy Divorce. The love of they life has cheated on my and blaming me for them doing it. I feel so let down, I just understand their agenda anymore.

An absolute disgrace. We must rid our club of the management vermin before honest, decent pro’s like Jackson, Solly, and Henderson are forced out against their will.

We need to step up our efforts against Burnley.
They need to go ASAP. Get the game called off.

Jose Riga should have ignored km and not dropped these players, he has got nothing to lose.It looks like open warfare now even involving playing staff. I have supported the clubfoot over 60 years and can’t remember anything like this. A new owner is now a must.

  6. The players’ union should seek a mandate from their members to withdraw their labour in fixtures against CAFC. I know that there will be shouts of such a move being possibly illegal but what could or would anybody practically do if all clubs involved at least in league fixtures were unwilling to play Charlton. It would of course cause absolute chaos if it ever materialised but even a ballot in favour of such a move in principle, to show solidarity would heap more pressure on the owner and Meire. They are bringing the game into disrepute but the silence from relevant authorities is deafening.

    • No need a2c for anybody to fabricate stuff to discredit the owner and Meire the disgraceful fact of totally avoidable relegation speaks for itself.

First of all, don’t respond to a2c: he’s either a troll or club employee. If the latter it just adds to the class they have demonstrated thus far with stunts like the sex on the pitch & fan sofa hilarities. But either way he’s a fucking dick! I
Secondly, if there is any truth whatsoever in these allegations then it is a truly shocking indictment of this regime & a very disturbing vision of the direction this club is hurtling towards. In fact it’s quite sinister. Surely, if corroborated, the PFA could & should intervene?
I think the protests have been, for the most part, orderly & well organised & we should keep it that way. The media is onto it & every attempt should be made to ramp that up.
There is no way back for them now & the relationship is broken beyond repair. It is simply us or them now & the very future of this once proud club is at stake. Let’s not go to sleep this summer.

(Bit melodramatic I know but it is very sincere & the future of our club very much depends on the eventual outcome of this stand off. I honestly believe that & it scares me).

    April 24, 2016
    • Cafca, not melodramatic at all and we need to keep up the pressure after the season in every way possible.

Also, Katrien Merde needs to do what she’s paid to do by Douche & face the fans & the press. It is cowardly beyond belief!

A very alarming report CA. I am afraid that months ago KM’s position was untenable.
A change of ownership seems the only way forward for me.
Things have gone way beyond working with the current regime,
Anything beyond discussing ‘a transfer of ownership’ seems futile, and devisive.
There are other parties out there interested in ownership,
I myself have been in contact with one of them. It is American based.

Well well well, the little skinny “Trinket” dangling on the charm bracelet RD wears is still meddling in teams affairs.
Get the FUCKING BITCH OUT , whatever it takes, knock those fucking specs off her brainless head and ship back to wherever she crawled out of. Keep it going.

Unlike the captain of the titanic, you really could see this coming.

I was part of the trust that called a public meeting some 15 months ago at Woolwich town hall, the club that is KM and her cohorts of individuals talked about talks, but you knew that RD was not going to change, adapt and bring in a business model that was fit for purpose for the championship. However fans were ‘hoodwinked’ with cat 1 status for sparrows lane, and a few wins at the end of last season, frankly that money being spent will and has appeared as debt to any potential buyer. The work has been delayed, and the funding anyway for a smaller training ground was secured by Peter Varney years ago, through the football foundation and Greenwich university. Part of that money was transferred to the shirt sponsorship I am informed?.

In beetween time the vision of RD crashes on like a battleship, ignoring sound advice in a course that was set for failure, and all the critics however mild in there criticism was seen as ‘mutineer’s.

With division 1 football, and the threat of westham playing European cup football, in a stadium a few miles away, most bar the true supporter will not have a hard choice to make if they want to see football on a Saturday. Far from seeing the stars of tommorow, as KM claims, they will be seeing the stars of today, leagues above where CAFC will be playing. Not a glorified bunch of journeyman, more akin to Charlton park than the Valley. I recognise the level as I used to manage a team that played there, a team full of ex academy players from CAFC, that were ‘let go’ because they were not good enough only a few years ago, for these wonderful Belgium players……… How many of them worked out, and are around guys!

We are now at the arse end of the football league, and a quick return to the championship looks a big ask, and with the ‘vision’ this owner has and his ‘enept’ management team, even league 1 may not be a reality for long.

I do not expect multi million pound players or even a return to the Premiership in the next 5 years, What i do expect is a manager that is allowed to manage, a CEO that has the skill set to support CAFC, and an owner who engages with fans, who might just have some idea, about how to be sustainable, and provide decent football, because this shower of shit, do not have a clue, and will not listen!

For goodness sake – it’s comments like this that make me embarrassed to be a Charlton fan. I am no apologist for the ownership but please…
There is discussion on CL about targeting KM’s parents – completely unacceptable – surely any reasonable people can see that?
Also what hypocrisy – such outrage at being called a customer but then calling someone a cunt or bitch seems to be acceptable.

Please someone agree with me that this type of thing is completely un-charlton

I saw my last game on Sat. I’m not returning until these poisonous individuals Meire and Roland get out. They are systematically destroying the club I have supported for 40 years. I hope everyone can crank up the pressure on these two idiots in whatever way they can. The men in white coats need to take the pair of them away

JH I agree, this type of thing is completely un-charlton in the same way that RD & KM are completely un-charlton, This is not just about the “customers” comment, it goes far far deeper than that and the posts only go to show the depth of feeling against the regime. There is no way back for them, let the protests continue.
